“Transformational Breathing is a very personal and unique experience. I believe in creating a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your own breathing and learn a simple technique to resolve any restrictions. An open respiratory system will enrich your body with oxygen and allow your natural healing responses to work more effectively.”

I am not shy of telling people that Transformational Breath® saved my life. That is how it felt when I first encountered my dear friend, Mentor and Breath Facilitator, Alan Dolan, who now runs brilliant retreats in Lanzarote. That very first breath session unlocked something that had been trapped inside me. It was ME. Not the me that went to work every day in cramped TV editing suites and led my life at the beck and call of rather demanding and often unreasonable people, but a me that was yearning for more.

I had shut myself down to deal with the daily grind. I loved my job, but as a freelance documentary editor my personal life had disappeared. On the occasions I came up for air I escaped to yoga retreats, places of calm and tried to catch up with as many friends as possible. Then the non-activity of freelance boom and bust; depression, anxiety and self doubt. In one 18 month period I had three life threatening incidents; the final one was a head-on car crash that wrote my car off and injured my Mother horribly. My endocrine system collapsed from all the fight and flight over stimulation and I was lucky to escape with just Hypothyroidism.

“Something had to give and I knew I needed to have a closer look at where my life was heading. Transformational Breath® came into my life as I was drowning and going down for the third time.”

I am passionate about Transformational Breath® because I know how incredibly powerful it can be. I know how, when I can hardly move with exhaustion, it lifts me up and boosts my energy. I know how it sustained me through five months of chemotherapy and recovery from medical complications. I also know how it helped me come to terms with the tragic loss of my Mother, Jean Evelyn Perrin and how it brings me closer to her after her death. Transformational Breath® in an incredible friend that has helped me through so many things and now I love to share the many gifts with others.
